Debbie Stavish, owner and designer of Deb's Gardening, began her landscaping career in 1999. With a BA from UCCS, Deb started by earning a Master Gardener Certificate from El Paso County in Colorado. Prior to landscaping, Deb was employed with Colorado State Parks, USDA Forest Service, and a California winery. She has a passion for habitat and ecosystem and abides by the industry's "Best Management Practices" while honoring the existing environment and treading lightly. Her Colorado Governor granted  "Seal of Knowledge" recognizes Deb's professional expertise and commitment to water quality protection and conservation in the Colorado landscape.

Deb's Gardening has created award-winning designs. Debbie creates garden designs for her clients, and the Deb's Gardening team later oversees the installation and scheduled maintenance of the gardens. Personal connection and communication is important to Debbie, and she attributes these qualities to helping to make her clients' garden dreams come true. Her designs frequently implement authentic handmade Italian pots which are also sold to her clients. In addition to managing Deb's Gardening, Debbie is dedicated to sharing her gardening expertise with her community through various volunteer projects. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and meditation, and finds herself in a new phase of life with her son Aidan off to college for jazz music. In the meantime, Debbie devotes part of her time to her Zen Buddhist community.
