Our approach to building the landscapes and gardens we design has a lot to do with the natural pattens of your unique environment and an awareness of how light, color, and our relationship to the earth extends beyond ourselves out to the world around us.

Taking cues from the mandala, the Sanskrit word for circle (loosely translated), we approach our all of our creative processes in a way that organizes shapes and structures around a unifying center. This provides an intergrated view of the natural space so that our minds may linger and enjoy. Your garden or landscape will radiate out to its larger surroundings, creating a sense of wholeness that is eye-pleasing and comforting.

Deb's Gardening focuses on specific garden areas, although we are also skilled at bringing our skills to any size outdoor space. We consult and plan, design and draw, and oversee the construction of all our designs. Our expertise in garden "vignettes" makes us particularly sought-after by homeowners.
